I am the lead designer for the Suburban
Hospital account. My duties include interacting
with the Public Relations, Foundation and
Community Outreach offices at Suburban;
designing flyers, posters, mailers, promotional
pieces, brochures, regular newsletters
and internal communications.
I also do design
work for some of Graphcom's other clients
including: Adam's County Nursery, Gettysburg
Hospital and Gettysburg College. This work
includes catalogs, brochures and magazines.

I am designing
and illustrating a series called "Children
Celebrate." These
are Sunday school lessons designed for
children ages 4 to 13. It includes handouts
in book form and a leader's guide.

I have designed, illustrated and laid
out an 8-book series called “The Learning
Library Math/Language Arts”, a 4-book
series called “I Can Make It-Science/Math”
and 2 Busy Kids Preschool activity books.
These books included simple full color art
and black & white line drawings.
I designed and developed this
equine/canine massage therapy website for
owner Gina Farago. I also designed her
business card and brochure. Gina’s
goal was to educate her customers about
massage therapy and present a professional
image to her clients.

I created and coordinated the magazine
ad schedule for the year 2003. (This included
working with the reps to get the best insertion
deals for the company.) I also designed
several ads for both trade and consumer
magazines. I designed and laid out 2 newsletters.
I also organized, designed and produced
the first pass of a 96-page catalog of
the company’s products.

Greensboro, NC
I was a member of team that launched the
site in BroadVision. (launch date: Oct.
26, 2000) This included redesigning the
site’s architecture to include the
store, the subscriber-only area and the
weekly content updates. We two designers
created every piece of art that went on
the site, including hundreds of downloadable
pdf’s. I helped maintain and update
the site using Dreamweaver and BroadVision
Command Center.

I have managed several book series from
concept through production, directing a
team of artists (generally 5 to 8). I also
acted as liaison between the artists and
editorial staff.
As the Workflow Coordinator, I scheduled
a 14-member art staff and coordinated the
flow of work for the department.

I typeset and laid-out black and white real
estate books. This job was high volume production
work. Although I was primarily a typesetter,
I also pitched in to do paste-up and proofreading
work.
