Evaluation and Follow-Up
The Process
- Evaluate the patient
- Locate specific areas of tightness and soreness
- Treat problem areas through application of therapeutic massage strokes
- Walk out the horse for five minutes (preferably done by owner) or
turn out the dog for five minutes to close session
- Meet with owner to review findings and discuss any follow-up treatment
that may be necessary

Horses at high levels of competition
